Having inhabited the life of a ballet dancer from an early age, Susanne Bayly’s immersion in an obsessive passion for detail, has formed an astoundingly original and startlingly complex visual idiom.
Even from early childhood, her works created in ink were notably characterised by repeated use of lines and intricate interweaving of geometric shapes. From such a young age, there was unavoidable and extraordinary evidence that Susanne had a truly special gift.
Susanne’s exquisite
drawings at times appear digital due to the dense intensity of detail
and precision, and in turn are reminiscent of the geometrical forms of
gothic architecture, like windows into realms of spirituality.
There appears to be levels of symmetry in Susanne’s art although
this is by no means consistent as she enforces hidden meaning and depth
into each piece.

If you fancy something a little more personal why
not have Susanne hand drawn something specifically, with the subject,
colors and material chosen by you. Take a look at the gallery for some
inspiration and remember - Susanne can apply this craft to absolute anything.
